Bowyers Hole is part cave and part mine, consisting of a series of chambers connected by easy passages. The cave is dry and the main passage ends in a clay-filled chamber.
Alternate Names: Bowyers Hole
Notes: There is confusion over its exact identity (SYC 11 Cave) as it is also the name given to SYC 3 Cave (also called Druids Cave) which is a huge entrance further south. The confusion possibly stems from the O.S. marking SYC 3 Cave as Bowyers Hole.
