Generally a tight cave liable to block up with debris which was the reason for the blockhouse at the entrance.

The swallet is a narrow rift descending steeply in a series of small waterfalls and tubes. The tubes are very narrow and liable to silt up in the squeeze sections and progress through the tight slots and the 90 degree bend is only possible by those of a small build. The final slot drops to the top of a 24m inclined pitch. The cave ends in a impassable pool.

Alternate Names: None recorded.

Notes: Caution: This a tight and awkward cave and only passable by those of small stature. Care is necessary at the first 6m free climb as it approached feet first from a narrow slot.

Treat the bolt at the top of the final pitch with caution.

Hydrographic Feeds: Coldwell stream

Hydrographic Resurgences: Coldwell Rising, Slaughter Rising
