The Dropper consists of a large rectangular boulder-filled hole with walls of pebbly sandstone, and an end wall which appears to be a now exposed wet cave shaft. The pit is 15m x 6m x 9m deep and takes a considerable amount of water in wet weather.

Notes: Dug by RFDCC 1993-2015 - Automatic siphon used to flush the cave through. Shaft descended into the Whitehead Limestone digging hampered by breakdown. Update required
