From the gate a series of fixed ladders descend via a scaffolded choke to a 4m pitch followed immediately by a 12m pitch. At the bottom of this a low crawl leads to the Main Streamway which is 3m square. Downstream leads to a dry sump bypass between sump 1 and 2 and continues to walking size stream passages. Upstream via low passages and a short climb leads to a dry fossil series 10m by 5m with various passages leading from this.
